Description

The Brentek G-1AMP Family of Dry Contact Output Modules fit a wide range of applications from 125 VDC Power Plant Controls to AC Control Systems as well as Telco and Communications Switching circuits by complying with FCC Part 68.302 and 68.304 surge and dielectric rating requirements. Their highly-reliable reed relays provide 250VAC/125VDC switching of 1 Amp 60 Watt signals with a 100 million cycle mechanical lifetime.

Control System designers can set up their desired "power-down" states by selecting the appropriate FORM 1A and FORM 1B contact modules - providing  fail-SAFE conditions for each critical I/O point.  The standard configuration has FORM 1A normally-open contacts.

This series is available with full ratings in both FORM 1A (normally open and FORM 1B (normally closed) types and provides control of AC, DC and composite voltages with zero off-state leakage current. Direct compatibility with industry standard G4 and 70G I/O mounting racks and high reliability make this series ideal for harsh industrial control applications. The active-low input is compatible with open-collector logic control signals. 5 Volt versions are also compatible with TTL and CMOS logic.  These modules can also be configured for PLC Logic compatibility. Available types include 5V, 12V, 15V and 24V logic operation - base model numbers include:
