Description
Brentek 5AMP Series High Current Dry Output Modules provide direct control of power loads, such as motors, contactors, solenoids and lights. The versatile DRY CONTACT output has zero OFF-state leakage current offering direct compatibility to control solid state input circuits. They are directly compatible with industry standard I/O mounting racks (Classic 0.6" or M or SM types). High reliability and encapsulated circuitry make this series ideal for robust industrial control applications. The input is active-low and may be controlled by open-collector logic. TTL and CMOS outputs can control 5V models directly*. They can also be configured for PLC Logic compatibility. They are available in industry-standard 5,12, 15, and 24 VDC supply voltages with base model numbers as follows:

The versatile DRY CONTACT output has zero OFF-state leakage current, low ON- state resistance, high power factor inductive load switching, so it can eliminates the need to specify/inventory separate AC and DC output modules. This series offers both FORM 1A (N.O.) and FORM 1B (N.C.) types which can be used to pre-configure select I/O points' default power-down states in order to achieve fail-SAFE control system design. Standard models are normally open.
